We will go through the toolkit, discuss the risks the toolkit addresses and the actions you can take to improve the security of your digital environment.
Learning Objectives:
· Understand what cyber risk is and why it's important to address
· Know what actions are important to take to put basic cyber hygiene in place to lower cyber risk
· Know what resources are available to be able to take action
ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:
Shehzad Mirza is the Deputy Director of Operations for Global Cyber Alliance (GCA), a not-for-profit organization who mission is to eliminate cyber risks around the globe. Shehzad has deep technical experience having served as a manager in the Advisory Services practice, as part of the security monitoring group, of Ernst & Young LLP. Prior to that Shehzad as Senior Director of Security Operations at the Center for Internet Security (CIS) responsible for managing the security operations, which included a 24x7 security operations center (SOC) providing cybersecurity and detection/notification services to all state and local governments across the United States for the Multi-State Information-Sharing and Analysis Center (MS-ISAC).
Aimee Larsen Kirkpatrick is the Global Communications Officer for the Global Cyber Alliance. Aimée was formerly with the National Cyber Security Alliance as the Partnership Engagement & Strategic Initiatives Director where she established strategies and programs to engage and broaden NCSA’s stakeholder base, expand its audience, and develop campaigns to educate the public about cybersecurity.
